The 宾西法尼亚 State Game L和s 33 (SGL33) research project in central 宾西法尼亚 SGL33 is the site of the longest continuous study (~60 years) measuring the effects of herbicides 和 mechanical vegetation management practices on plant diversity, 野生动物栖息地, 和野生动物 use within a right-of-way (ROW). The team aims to exploit tiny naturally-occurring electrical currents in the flame between cutting torch 和 steel work piece to form a sophisticated sensor that is invulnerable to damage during this harsh process.
