Penn State 阿尔图纳 will hold a screening of the film “Please Stand By” at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, April 17, in the Fireside Lounge of the Slep Student Center.
The documentary film "Blair County: A People's History," produced and directed by Penn State 阿尔图纳 graduate Mark Frederick, will premiere at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, April 18, at the Mishler Theatre in downtown 阿尔图纳. The documentary will be followed by a Q&A session with Frederick and the film’s executive producer.
“Animating Autotheory: Personal Essay Films,” a body of work by John Summerson, will run from Feb. 15 through March 21 in the Sheetz Gallery of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.
“My Ascension” chronicles Emma Beniot’s recovery journey and advocacy work while addressing the youth suicide epidemic. The screening will be followed by an open dialogue related to preventing youth suicides in Blair County.
杰瑞Zolten, professor of communication arts and sciences at Penn State 阿尔图纳, contributed to and appears in the documentary series "Gospel," which dives into the complex history of Gospel music and preaching.
Penn State 阿尔图纳 will host "Make a Joyful Noize," a music production workshop by 灵魂科学实验室, 周一, 3月20日, in Room 115 of the Misciagna Family Center for Performing Arts.
